BGTNT stands for Battle Ground Training, Nutrition, & Transformation. The TNT comes from a recently popular concept that excellence takes no talent.
BGTNT is a youth training and development program focused on movement, mindset, discipline, and confidence. We help young athletes build strong habits that support growth both on and off the field.
-
The overall approach to BGTNT is a youth athlete development program. While not sport-specific, there will be sport-specific development sessions offered at different times throughout the year.
Our foundation sessions teach essential body movement and coordination while the development programs emphasize continued athletic development including strength, speed, coordination, and focus. Athlete confidence is an outcome of showing up and working hard, especially as the athlete learns that they are strong and capable.
-
Each session is 75 minutes, structured into multiple segments including warm-up, activities, and skill development.
-
The main program development focuses on two sessions per week. As each training session has a focus, this helps the youth athlete develop overall which leads to confidence, and improved athletic performance.
-
Each day, the athlete will begin with a dynamic warm up that prepares the body for that day’s activities. While there are countless studies that have been done, generally static stretching before physical activities leads to sub-optimal outcomes as well as injury. See this article here; https://www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/ask-the-doctor-stretching-before-exercise
The end of the session will have light static stretching to ensure optimal blood flow and the program will also educate on muscles versus fascia to ensure optimal athletic development and outcomes.

Parents register and manage scheduling through our online system. Once enrolled, session times remain consistent unless changes are requested. Can siblings enroll together?
-
Parents are responsible for registration, communication, and attendance support. During sessions, children train independently with our coaching team. There is a waiting area for parents outside of the training area.
-
That’s completely okay. Our coach and other athletes create a supportive environment where children are encouraged to try, learn, and build confidence at their own pace.
-
We understand that schedules change. Missed sessions are not refunded, but consistency is encouraged for the best results.
-
Competition brings out the best in athletes. In each session there will be activities where the youth athlete will try to win that activity as they compete against the other athletes in that class.
As the athlete progresses through the program they will be able to more easily identify the events they excel, while also identifying opportunities for improvement. Some will be naturally strong, while others may be naturally quick, while some may bring a greater mental strength. Each of these athletes will win at different times while also supporting their team athletes.

Please note any medical considerations during registration. Participation may be restricted, modified or paused depending injury or medical condition.
